How To Play

Each player receives an answer sheet and a set of betting coins. Shuffle the question cards, take 8 and place them in the draw pile at the centre of gameplay. Put all other question cards away. Shuffle the cash cards and create a face-down draw pile next to the question cards. Randomly assign the opening bid card to one of the players. Each game consists of eight separate rounds.
To start, draw the top 3 cash cards and place them face up in a row. Read aloud one of the questions on the first card in the draw pile, and each player writes an answer on their answer sheet. All answers are placed in the centre face down, and one player shuffles the answer sheets. The player with the opening bid token chooses a betting coin and places it in front of themselves.
Moving clockwise, players take turns playing one of their betting coins, but each betting coin played must be a unique number. Two players cannot bid the same value betting coin. The player with the highest bid looks through the answer cards and picks the one they want. The other players then do this in turn from highest to lowest bid. So, you need to be strategic with bids.
The answers are revealed, and from highest to lowest bidder, players with a correct answer pick a money card. Wrong answer, no money. Only the first 3 correct answers win money. Before the next round, remove all played bidding tokens from the game and the answered question. The opening bid token moves to the next player. Cash cards remain where they are and get stacked.

The Winner

Once all 8 rounds have been played, add up your cash cards plus the value of the remaining betting coin you have. The player with the highest score is the winner and becomes the Boss of Small Heath.
