Easy-to-follow rules

How To Play

Build the 10 cardboard boxes, push out and assemble the card pieces and place them in the appropriate boxes (see rules). Pop the boxes into the game box – they will fit perfectly so you only need to build them up once!
Each player (or team) picks a Taskmaster portrait playing piece. This will be your marker for the episode and the series! Choose your Taskmaster (we suggest changing for each task) and pick an episode envelope at random.
Before opening the envelope, take a look at the back to see what you need for that episode. Grab everything, ensure you have a timer to hand, place the pen and secret task envelope on the table and you’re ready to play!
Start with the prize task (see the rules when playing episode one). The Taskmaster awards points and the scores are updated on the playing pieces. (The Taskmaster does not take part in the task they are judging).
Continue playing, and complete tasks 1-5 making sure you only open the envelope to reveal one task at a time. Update the scores after each task. The final task is an all-play task with points awarded as per the rules.

The Winner

The episode winner is the player with the most points at the end of the episode, and they get to take home all the prize tasks – whether they want them or not!
At the end of each episode, mark your scores on the leaderboard, and set the next prize task which you can find at the bottom of the episode envelope you have just played.
To win the series, play the remaining 9 episodes, and keep score as you go on the leaderboard. The player with the most points after all 10 episodes have been played is crowned The Taskmaster Secret Series Champion and they can open the special WINNERS ENVELOPE!
